Kontinuit\u00e4t, Quantit\u00e4t und Qualit\u00e4t der Teilnahmen - auf diesen Kriterien beruht das Schulranking der Wissenschafts-Olympiade. Seit 15 Jahren wird ein Preis an Schulen verliehen, deren Sch\u00fclerinnen und Sch\u00fcler stetig, oft und mit Erfolg an den Wissenschafts-Olympiaden teilnehmen. Der Schulpreis ist mit 1000 Franken dotiert, die in Projekte f\u00fcr Sch\u00fclerinnen und Sch\u00fcler in den Olympiadenf\u00e4chern fliessen sollen. <\/p>\r\n

Die Alte Kanti Aarau schaffte es 2017 und seit 2020 jedes Jahr auf den ersten Platz - dazwischen gewannen 2019 die Kantonsschule Wettingen<\/a> und 2018 das Liechtensteinische Gymnasium<\/a>, wobei die Alte Kanti Aarau den zweiten Platz erreichte.<\/p>\r\n

Die Alte Kanti an den Wissenschafts-Olympiaden 2023\/24<\/h2>\r\n

Im Schuljahr 2023\/24 nahmen 270 Sch\u00fclerinnen und Sch\u00fcler der Alten Kanti an 9 verschiedenen Olympiaden teil. 7 von ihnen gelang der Sprung an ein Schweizer Finale.<\/p>\r\n

\"\"Benjamin Thut und Elisa Maxhara gewannen Gold am Finale der Wirtschafts-Olympiade<\/a>. W\u00e4hrend bei der Olympiade eher die Theorie im Vordergrund stand, konnte Elisa im Rahmen des Company Programme <\/a>von Young Enterprise Switzerland (YES)<\/a> mit der Gr\u00fcndung eines Mini-Unternehmens bereits erste Praxiserfahrungen sammeln: \u201cDa habe ich realisiert, dass ich etwas mit Wirtschaft machen m\u00f6chte\u201d. Sie r\u00e4t anderen Jugendlichen, Angebote wie die Wirtschafts-Olympiade wahrzunehmen: \u201cMan kann nur gewinnen!\u201d<\/p>\r\n

Sie durften die Schweiz an der Internationalen Wirtschafts-Olympiade<\/a> in Hongkong vertreten. Benjamin holte eine Silbermedaille und lobte die kreativen Aufgabenstellungen und die gute Energie im Team. <\/p>\r\n

Ursus Wigger war in Informatik <\/a>ganz vorne mit dabei und konnte in \u00c4gypten <\/a>eine Ehrenmeldung ergattern. Die Schlusszeremonie inklusive Abendessen fand vor der Sphinx statt, mit den Pyramiden von Gizeh im Hintergrund. \u201cIch h\u00e4tte nicht erwartet, dass es so fancy<\/i> wird, das war toll\u201d, so Ursus. <\/p>\r\n

Avec les World Robot Olympiad la derni\u00e8re activit\u00e9 de l'ann\u00e9e olympique 2023\/2024 a pris fin en novembre. Les grandes disparit\u00e9s du nombre de participant\u00b7e\u00b7s par discipline s\u2019expliquent aussi par la forme de l\u2019\u00e9preuve du premier tour. Par exemple, pour les Olympiades de biologie, math\u00e9matiques, g\u00e9ographie et physique, celle-ci consiste en un questionnaire \u00e0 choix multiple directement rempli \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9cole. Environ 99 % des participant\u00b7e\u00b7s ont enregistr\u00e9 leur lieu de r\u00e9sidence et donc leur canton de r\u00e9sidence (qui ne correspond pas toujours au canton scolaire). Comme on pouvait s'y attendre, les cantons \u00e0 forte population ont des chiffres \u00e9lev\u00e9s.<\/p>\r\n

1.3 Nombres de participant\u00b7e\u00b7s relatif par canton de r\u00e9sidence<\/strong><\/h4>\r\n

Pour illustrer le potentiel des cantons de petite et moyenne taille, on peut calculer les nombres relatifs. Ils expriment le nombre de participants par rapport \u00e0 la taille du canton. \u00c9tant donn\u00e9 que la plupart des jeunes sont issus de gymnases, le chiffre de r\u00e9f\u00e9rence utilis\u00e9 est le nombre de dipl\u00f4mes de maturit\u00e9 obtenu l'ann\u00e9e pr\u00e9c\u00e9dente dans chaque canton (chiffres de l'Office f\u00e9d\u00e9ral de la statistique).<\/p>\r\n

Des robots dans une ferme bio <\/strong><\/h2>\r\n

La plupart des \u00e9quipes des WRO concourent dans les trois classes d'\u00e2ge de la cat\u00e9gorie \"RoboMission\". Objectif: construire et programmer un robot en Lego capable de pousser ou de trier des objets sur un terrain de jeu. Les d\u00e9fis de la premi\u00e8re journ\u00e9e du concours sont connus \u00e0 l'avance, tandis que les \u00e9preuves de la deuxi\u00e8me journ\u00e9e testent l'autonomie et la capacit\u00e9 d'adaptation des \u00e9quipes. En accord avec le slogan \"Earth Allies\", les \u00e9preuves s'inspiraient de l'agriculture durable, des villes plus vertes ou de la gestion des catastrophes naturelles. Les robots des plus jeunes participant\u00b7e\u00b7s devaient r\u00e9colter des l\u00e9gumes ou am\u00e9nager un jardin sur les toits, tandis que les 14-19 ans devaient reconstruire des maisons et r\u00e9parer des conduites d'eau. \"Les \u00e9preuves de la cat\u00e9gorie Senior \u00e9taient super int\u00e9ressantes, mais difficiles, raison pour laquelle personne n'a obtenu le maximum de points cette ann\u00e9e\", commente Jonathan de l'\u00e9quipe \"Mindst\u00fcrmer\".<\/p>\r\n

Echange interculturel <\/strong><\/h2>\r\n

Les robots n'\u00e9taient au repos que lorsque les participant\u00b7e\u00b7s \u00e9taient occup\u00e9\u00b7e\u00b7s \u00e0 faire connaissance et \u00e0 d\u00e9couvrir Izmir. La d\u00e9l\u00e9gation suisse est arriv\u00e9e un jour plus t\u00f4t et a visit\u00e9 les fouilles de la ville antique d'\u00c9ph\u00e8se avec la troisi\u00e8me plus grande biblioth\u00e8que de l'Antiquit\u00e9. La \"Friendship Night\" a eu lieu le deuxi\u00e8me soir, durant lequel des petits cadeaux, comme des porte-cl\u00e9s ou des petits drapeaux, ont \u00e9t\u00e9 \u00e9chang\u00e9s. Cette soir\u00e9e a \u00e9t\u00e9 le point fort pour Jonathan: \"C'est g\u00e9nial de d\u00e9couvrir les autres cultures et d'\u00e9changer.\" <\/p>\r\n

L'\u00e9quipe b\u00e2loise \"Overclocked.\" a atteint le 10e<\/sup> rang dans la cat\u00e9gorie \"Future Innovators\", dont la t\u00e2che est de d\u00e9velopper un mod\u00e8le de robot pouvant \u00eatre utilis\u00e9 pour un avenir durable. \"Notre robot, r\u00e9alis\u00e9 en grande partie par impression 3D, r\u00e9sout le probl\u00e8me du r\u00e9tablissement d'un climat agr\u00e9able pr\u00e8s de la mer d'Aral gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 un reboisement cibl\u00e9\", raconte David de l'\u00e9quipe \"Overclocked.\". La World Robot Olympiad (WRO) est une comp\u00e9tition internationale pour les enfants et les jeunes. Elle a lieu depuis 2004, chaque ann\u00e9e dans un pays diff\u00e9rent. Depuis 2013, la Suisse y participe \u00e9galement. L'association WRO Suisse organise les Olympiades \u00e0 titre b\u00e9n\u00e9vole. Depuis 2017, elle est membre des Olympiades de la science avec ses concours en biologie, chimie, g\u00e9ographie, linguistique, math\u00e9matiques, informatique, philosophie, physique et \u00e9conomie. Tant la WRO Suisse que les Olympiades de la science font partie du r\u00e9seau IT-Tout feu tout flamme, qui s'engage en faveur de la formation informatique en Suisse.<\/p>\r\n

    108 out of 161 invitees submitted an essay, an unexpectedly high turnout. The anonymous evaluation of the essays by a jury of high school teachers, university students and former finalists began on November 23 during SPO Day, the annual meetup of current and potential volunteers of the Philosophy Olympiad, and continued throughout the following week.<\/p>\r\n
